Structure

The bespoke programmes typically consist of one or more days depending on the requirement. The session days are usually separated by 3 – 4 weeks to allow delegates to implement their actions plans that are developed during each session and reviewed at the start of the following one.

Delegates have a future development path as successive Mdina programmes build on the previous sessions and experience.

Development

The development stage includes three key areas each of which need a different focus:-

  1. Skills for Management or Sales functions require training and are normally broken down into key areas of competence development which are agreed as a result from the research stage.
  2. Knowledge is gained through education which is normally achieved by simply showing, telling, explaining some particular knowledge that individuals need.
  3. The attributes of an individual is an issue of awareness. Often individuals are not aware of their own attributes (or attitudes) or how they impact on others. Once aware, it is for the individual to decide if they want to change some of their negative attributes.

Mdina believe that many training situations are not as effective as they should be because there is confusion between skills, knowledge and attributes.

Method

The development programmes can consist of group discussions, team activities and problems solving games, all of which ensure that the delegates are engaged and participating in a relaxed and fun environment which enhances the learning experience.
