Programme research
We aim to gather as much information and data about the current situation depending on the requirement using a structure of questions under the following headings:–
| Direction | What are we trying to achieve? |
| Accountability | What is our role in that direction? |
| Measurement | How are we measured in that role? |
| Authority | What is our level of authority? |
| Communication | How do we communicate? |
| Attitude | What is our approach? |
This research could include 1-2-1 interviews with relevant personnel and aims to reveal further issues to tackle but also helps the delegates feel ownership of the planned development programme.
The research stage helps us to contextualise the programmes and tools to include the language and terminology used within the organisation. The final touches can now be made to the development programme.
